Art Brokerage: Jeff Pykerman Canadian Artist: For over 30 years Jeff has been creating and exhibiting fine art in North America. Today his acclaimed wood reliefs, acrylic on canvas and watercolours are proudly displayed in private and corporate collections in Canada, USA, Britain, Holland and Asia. His piece "All That Jazz" was created using two different methods. One is acrylic paint on canvas. The second method is cutting and layering wood with varying degrees of relief. The relief is then covered with marble dust and acrylic gel and then painted with acrylic and a final varnish. Using rich and vibrant colours the images are stretched and distorted to the rhythm of the music and the swinging world of jazz comes alive with a whimsical twist. Listings wanted by Art Brokerage.
I am looking for one of his pieces that is a submarine, made also as a monument at the US Naval Academy, commemorating the 100 years of submarine service. It was completed in 99 and the monument for 1900-2000 America's Submarine Centennial. Thank you for your time!
