Art Brokerage: John Bassett American Glass Artist: Since 1967 he worked as a carpenter. Before that he was an architectural draftsman. He has done glass since 1979. He is interested in the richness of shape and texture of glass produced by slumping and fusing. He does panels for windows, commissions, and glass that can be shown on interior walls and doesn't need strong backlighting. He is interested in light, structure, line, texture, balance, and color in that order. He uses recycled materials, including bottles, plates, wood windows, and construction scrap to make residential sized panels and commissions. Listings wanted.
