Lucien Gondret

Although his first paintings were of the countryside of his native Val-d'Oise, he soon discovered his chosen subject in the powerful seaside of Brittany. These rugged seascapes, with their superb contrast of light and dark, have become the signature image of Lucien Gondret. Gondret exhibits annually at the Salon des Indépendents and is a member of the Salon des Artistes Français. He has had numerous exhibits throughout France as well as Japan and the United States.
