It became well known for the pictures of people during the depression. Margaret wrote two more books called North of the Danube and Say is this the U.S.A. Margaret was the first women journalist to be allowed to work in combat zones by in the U.S. army during World War II. She was the first photographer for Fortune Magazine. Margaret has famous drawings in many NY museums. Margaret most famous photograph was published on the cover of the first Life Magazine.
