"Broken Stripes 2009 36x24" by Richard Andrew Nulman - 🔥Acrylic on Canvas - Inquire
Art Brokerage: Richard Andrew Nulman American Artist: b. 1948. R.A. Nulman's artwork is marked by two elements above all: innovation, and bold, compelling colors. His abstract works start as grand ideas in the form of sketches, and often include colored pencils, paint brushes, dice and found objects that are affixed to his canvases and become an integral part of the finished artworks. Much like Anselm Kiefer. First and foremost, Nulman is an "idea guy." He studied art in high school and college, became an accomplished photographer, but worked for decades in advertising as a Madison Avenue CEO before becoming a full-time painter. His vibrant works feature multiple layers of acrylic paint, which add texture and depth to his canvases. Nulman's work can be found in private collections throughout the United States.
