Story / Additional InfoThis painting was purchased directly from the artist. Made with the earlier more hands on tape method by the artist. Later ones are painted by artisans and outlined by Britto in black pen. Britto made an acrylic sculpture with the same image.This is Romero Britto's "TAPE METHOD" painting. He used tape to separate the colors to make more precious/sharp lines. He prices these paintings 2X more than "NON tape method" done after 2002. His reasoning is that it took him 2X longer to paint using the "TAPE METHOD" compared to "NON tape method". Please see appraisal attached for 2017 for $72,000
