Nicolae Maniu

Art Brokerage: Nicolae Maniu Romanian Artist: b. 1944. Nicolae Maniu, was born on April 11, 1944, in Turda, Romania. He graduated the Arts High School in 1963 and Ion Andreescu Arts Institute - Sculpture Department in 1969. Since 1971 Maniu has participated in regional, national and international exhibitions organized by the Romanian Ministry of Culture. In 1983 he moved to Cologne Germany, and in 1993 he settled in Paris, France where he participated in numerous personal and group exhibitions in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, The Netherlands and France. Since 1986 Maniu has regularly participated in the traditional Salons in Paris. Various galleries have represented Maniu at International Art Fairs in Basel, Geneva, Rome, Barcelona, Brussels, Hamburg, New York and Miami. Since 1996 his work has been on permanent display at the Opera Gallery in Paris, London, Venice, Monte Carlo, Geneva, New York, Miami, Singapore, Honk Kong, Seoul and Dubai.
