Ronnie Hedge

Art Brokerage: Ronnie W. Hedge American Artist: b. 1954-2010. R. W. Hedge was born in Tyler, TX. He received his first gift of canvas and oil paints from his father when he was fifteen. He tacked odd-shaped canvas onto plywood strips until he learned that canvas was meant to be stretched first! That was the first in a long career of self-taught lessons that would bring him to his own amazing style of painting. As a young man he traveled to live in the West–the Grand Canyon and the Rockies–and was inspired for a lifetime of capturing the spirit of these great American treasures on canvas.
