Story / Additional InfoRoss Bleckner draws inspiration from science, psychology, and his own personal experience. The title of this print refers to a displacement loop in molecular biology, in which the structure of a double-stranded DNA is separated by a third strand; notably, this formation is especially useful in the process of DNA repair. Here three zigzags recall the molecule’s helix, a microscopic detail of the human body enlarged and abstracted in vivid blue and yellow.
