Art Brokerage: Willard van Dyke American Artist: b. 1906-1986. Born in Denver, Colarado, in 1905, and eventually moving to California, Van Dyke was inspired by the landscapes of the west. In 1929, he began an apprenticeship with Edward Weston, honing his photography, and connecting with notable peers, and co-founders of f.64, Ansel Adams and Imogen Cunningham. Van Dyke's early images captured landscapes and architectural structures, with an emphasis on form, light, and negative space. Listings wanted.
