Art Brokerage: Christian Jequel French Artist: b. 1935. Born on January 16, 1935, in Ganges, in the Cevennes region of France, he grew up with the subjects of his paintings already around him, In the surrounding country life and rural scenes. His principle aim is to express all that lives and breaths around him. In 1960 Jequel had his first exhibition. He was later selected for the prestigious Salon des Peintres Temoins de leur Temps". He was invited to the Salon Comparison and to the National Society of Fine Art Exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris. From 1985 to the present he has had one-man exhibition in the nayor cities of france and has participated in numerous joint exhibitions in cities throughout the world. The French television station FR3 has broadcast two special programs featuring Jequel. One presenting a portrait of the artist and the other a live broadcast of the artist at work. Listings wanted.
