Story / Additional InfoThe item up for sale is a spectacular and bold original pastel by Legendary French Artist, Hughes Claude Pissarro. As an artist, Pissarro is forever famous for the bold color, thick texture, expressive passion and many other ideals that his artwork exhibit. Yet, of all the masterpieces he created, often his most desired images are intricate portraits of idealistic French landscapes. Like the one here, "Les Voiliers", which gives the viewer incite into his full realms of remarkable genius and talent. Also, it is spectacular in person with the custom, moulding enhancing this remarkable imagery. Hughes Claude Pissarro (1935-): The Grandson of legendary impressionist Paulemile Pissarro and the son of Claude, H. Claude Pissarro was born with a paintbrush in his hand. Hughes began exhibiting his artwork at the tender age of 14 and went on to later study at the esteemed Ecole du Musée du Louvre and, Ecole Normale Supérieur, reserved for the most elite students. Today his work is well received by critics and collectors alike meanwhile carrying on the established tradition of the Pissarro family while showing at some of the most prestigious museums and galleries around the world. "The painting and its original custom frame are in excellent condition with no defects to report". I had this piece verified by the artist himself very recently and, as a result, I can provide in addition to the painting, an original signed and fingerprinted certificate of authenticity from the artist himself.

Hugues Claude Pissarro, also known professionally as Isaac Pomié, is the grandson of the Impressionist painter Camille Pissarro and son of the artist Paul Emile Pissarro. Born in Neuilly-sur-Seine on 9 November 1935, steeped in this artistic environment, he inevitably spent his childhood and youth with brushes in his hand. Carrying on a family tradition established by Camille Pissarro, Paulemile, accompanied by his numerous artist friends, frequently took his sons on painting excursions. All works wanted. All paintings must have authentication.
