Art Brokerage: Don Dahlke American Artist: Don's earliest pieces can be classified as whimsical, capturing the spirit of West Indies life. He also has experimented with abstracts in mixed media, and admits to revealing his more spiritual side. The current architectural series has been well developed with a program of originals and canvas limited editions. Don Dahlke's Caribbean discovery is a long way from his native Oregon. Born in the 50s, he is the son of a feed merchant. It became clear early on that Don's call was painting. His formal training finished abruptly when an instructor said, Just go paint! That he did. Previously in his career he was inspired while living on St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. Kitts and still visits and paints there frequently. He participates in charitable events and organizations such as Reef Relief. Listings wanted.
