Art Brokerage: Emmett John Fritz American Artist: b. 1917-1995. He (aka John Emmett Fritz) was an artist who worked and lived in Florida all his life and was known for still lifes, landscape, marine, carton, caricarture in Acrylic and thick oil. He became one of St. Augustine's most popular artists, was introduced as a new member of the St. Augustine Arts Club and Florida Art Association in 1951, and was once a student of Norman Rockwell. He was part of St. Augustine's "Lost Colony" of artists featured in Robert Turchia's "The Artists of St. Augustine" 1930-1950. Paintings wanted by Art Brokerage.
