Ivan Moura - Puerto Rico
Art Brokerage: Ivan Moura Puerto Rican Artist: b. 1941-2010. Moura was born in New York City, but at one stage of his career he settled in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico. He was part of the stable of artists of the I.W.A. Gallery Workshop. in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He was an exponent of the "Costumbrismo" movement. Many of his paintings are inspired by Puerto Rican scenes such as the flamboyant tree, cock-fights, street-side merchants, and the piragÃŒeros. He also created a big collection of Don Quixote. Original paintings wanted.
Original Painting originally titled "Interior with Flowers" but likely titled "Blue Kitten" when sold to Boston, Mass. gallery 2008. Had been in my family for 40+ years.
