Vangelis Rinas

Art Brokerage: Vangelis Rinas Greek Artist: b. 1966. Vangelis Rinas is a Greek painter and sculptor. He was born on Samos Island in 1966, but grew up on Ikaria Island in the Northeastern Aegean Sea. He has created paintings, sculptures, prints and installations. Since 1992, he has had shows in Greece and abroad (including solo and group exhibitions) and participated in international biennales. These include his solo exhibition at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing and his latest solo show at Tenri Cultural Institute in New York. Since 2000, he has presented three solo exhibitions entitled "Endless Sailing". all three included paintings and sculpture. His sculpture has been installed in the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing with Chinese ideograms and Braille writing. Listings wanted.
