Art Brokerage: Eileen Seitz American Artist: Eileen Seitz was born in Midtown Manhattan Her artistic world began when she was eight years old. At age thirteen she won a first place award for an oil painting in a New York City street art show. At sixteen she sold her first oil painting to a New York City art dealer. She attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y studying Fine Arts in drawing, oil painting and watercolors. In 1968 she started traveling. Central and South America, later living in the, Bahamas, Caribbean, and Hawaiian Islands. Traveling through Europe, Fiji, South Pacific, Alaska absorbing, nature, cultures, architecture, always bringing her experiences to paper and canvas. The Truth and Beauty of these places feeds Eileen's artistic soul. For the past 42 years, Eileen's paintings have received numerous awards, commissioned and purchased for theatre, television, national and International hotels, resorts, banks, restaurants, airports and cruise ships and private collectors.
