She reminds us of her roots through landscapes of her native Belgium, the flat Flemish countryside, Bruges, her magnificent forest and interiors… She moved to Mougins, France in 1987, in search of the light of the Midi, a light which can be seen in her canvases: hinterland villages, flower-bedecked lanes, fields of lavender, olive orchards, the Lerins Islands, Cap d'Antibes, as well as the banks of the River Brague. From her trips to Brittany she brings us magnificent panoramas of wild coastlines, beaches with shell gatherers…Through her paintings she communicates have her gaiety and her love for life, her palette is extremely sensitive and art lovers have been seduced by her paintings for more than 35 years.
