Story / Additional InfoSeller met Ramon Lombarte in the Plaça del Pi, a place in old Barcelona known for its sales and purchases of paintings and sculptures and purchased directly from him. The painting belongs to the first stage of an artist who is now attracting the interest of many serious North American collectors. Although this first stage is little known, it is of great artistic value. In this painting, Lombarte shows us a dozing woman who, the more we look at her, the more she conveys a sense of calm and silence.
