His ability to obtain a luminous quality througout his pieces holds the viewer spellbound. His paintings manifest an exquisite use of light and its paly in infinity. Breteau, with Salvador Dali, among other artists, was commissioned to create original paintings, limited editions and posters, for the 1980 Summer Olympics.
