Roy Schallenberg has collectors and has exhibited in many parts of the world, including Australia, Canada, Israel, Germany, England, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Venezuela and throughout the United States. He immigrated to the United States in 1976 and made the United States his home until his death in March of 2010. Schallenberg found great excitement in discovering and working with different dynamics and synergy of paint, creating flows and movements unique to his vibrant style. The abstract and expressionist paintings are pure energy and are intuitve in nature, reflecting the mood and understanding of the viewer. With airbrush, palette knife and brush, the artist weaved color, texture, and aura into a fantasy of brilliance and spontaneity. Buyer looking for an original 1936 Irma Stern painting of a 12 year old white girl. Dress was a cornflower blue (a little darker than sky blye) -The dress had small buttons going down to the waste with short puffed sleeves, pink flowers, and a square neck line. Painted in 1936 between March and November -Painted in Irma Stern's Studio (where the Irma Stern Museum is today) in Rondebosch which is in Cape Town, South Africa. Please email hjoffe@comcast.net
