Provenance / HistoryFrom the artist: "Inspired by the spirit of the Venetian Carnival, the artist immerses us in an enchanting symphony of colors and emotions, where abstract forms and figures swirl in a mesmerizing dance. St. Mark's Square comes alive under masks and costumes, each telling its own story. Faces are hidden behind masks, yet emotions are expressed more vividly than ever before.Masterfully weaving together abstract elements and realistic details, the artist creates a multilayered work where each element plays its own role. Vibrant splashes of color evoke the carnival's colorful costumes, while the flowing lines of the dancing figures reflect the playfulness and joy of the celebration. "Dance of Souls" is not just a depiction of dance. It is a deep dive into the world of human emotions, where each character hides their secret. The masquerade of souls in St. Mark's Square is a metaphor for life, where we all play roles, concealing our true feelings. In this painting, the artist gives us the opportunity to touch the magic of the carnival, immerse ourselves in the festive atmosphere, and peer into the depths of the human soul. "A Masquerade of Souls in St. Mark's Square" is a hymn to life, mystery, and enchantment, captured on canvas."

Art Brokerage: Vladimir Mukhin Kazakhstan Artist: b. 1971. Vladimir Mukhin's works instantly win you over with their lyricism, refined lines, light and energy, combining rich dynamics of impressionism and traditional academic painting. Vladimir Mukhin's works are appreciated both by professional artists and art lovers worldwide. Master works can be found in galleries and private collections in Russia, USA, Canada, France, China and Australia. After training at the Penza Art School, Mukhin, an aspiring artist, entered and successfully graduated from the famous Russian Academy of Painting. He remembers that many of his teachers had been deported to this neglected backwater of the Soviet Union as punishment for their artistic aspirations. 'I remember', he says sadly, 'they were proud but they were broken'. In 1986 Vladimir entered the Penza College of Fine Art (400 miles southeast of Moscow). It was here that Vladimir began to realize the inherent conflict of trying to become a great painter under a Soviet system that promoted uniformity. 'The credo of the artist must always be to offer a unique perspective', he says. Listings wanted
