Art Brokerage: Ruben Resendiz Mexican Artist: b. 1943-2018. Rubén Reséndiz was born in México City on January 12, 1943. When he was 17 years old, he moved to Guanajuato. Guanajuato is a beautiful colonial and romantic city hometown of Mexican master muralist Diego Rivera located near Central México. Guanajuato's natural beauty has a large influence on Reséndiz' work. The artist studied his craft at "Escuela de Artes Plásticasnde la Universidad de Guanajuato. He decided to specialize in watercolor techniques. His natural talent, ability and great sense of perspective soon converted him into one of the most popular artists in México. Reséndiz' paintings have been defined as "astounding" and full of character. Only a few artists have achieved the perfection of perspective, composition, light and shadows, architecture, and charm as in the works of this incredible artist. For fifty years, Rubén Reséndiz has captured the beautiful natural scenery of Guanajuato and several other incredible buildings of then traditional Old México. Reséndiz' magical talent has captured time withinnhis paintings in a world that is in continuous evolution. In 1998, Reséndiz decided to create a unique style through the medium of the watercolor techniques. Using a combination of only two or three colors in different tones, Reséndiz gives life, character, and incredible views to his paintings. Rubén Reséndiz is receiving the recognition he deserves for his incredible talent. Resendiz' art has been collected by art collectors in México, Canada, Russia, France, Spain and all over the USA.
